Custom Horse Hair, Car, Purse, Backpack Charm

This listing is for a custom Car/Purse/Backpack Charm with your horse's hair (either mane or tail), a charm of your choosing (Dreamcatcher, Angel Wings, etc.), and your horse's name as shown in the pic.

The pictures in this listing are the “style” you will receive. Please message me if you would like different beads or charms and we will create a unique piece to honor your beloved.

All orders are packaged in a beautiful pink box with paper shred, tissue paper wrapping and a gift or sympathy card can be added.

AFTER ORDERING

Please send me a message after ordering if you would like different bead options, and I will respond with what I have that is appropriate for this design.

Please check the spelling of the name you give me before ordering - the name will be exactly you write it.

Once your order is placed and your message to me is sent, you will need to mail me the hair. Due to issues with the USPS, I suggest you use Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. I will return the unused portion of the hair along with your finished order.

You only need to send a small amount of hair - about the diameter of a dime at the cut end.

Please send at least 4" of hair - either mane or tail hair is fine. Please ensure that the hair is either in a baggie or that somehow the cut end is contained, preferably with a twist tie instead of a rubber band which could damage the hair when removed. If you use a baggie, you can simply slip that inside a bubble mailer for mailing.

You do not need to wash the hair – I will do that when it is received.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU LABEL THE HAIR WITH YOUR NAME AS IT APPEARS ON THE ORDER. Some days I’m so busy that I don’t know if I’ve found a rope or lost my horse so help me out by clearly labeling your hair with the name you use on your order.

After completing your order, please send the hair to me promptly at this address - make sure you write your name on the package exactly as it appears in your order so I can keep track of it:

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Metal may tarnish. This is a natural occurrence due to exposure to sulfur or hydrogen sulfide in the air.

It is not recommended to regularly soak your creation as this can weaken the sealant, mildew the hair or even tarnish the hardware.

If it is necessary to clean the creation, please use a soft cloth and plain water - do not immerse the piece in water. Simply rub it clean then dry it completely before re-hanging.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

All items are covered by a routine use warranty which covers damaged hardware, lost charms, etc. Routine use means that the piece is kept out of the weather and handled in a careful manner befitting its place in the heart of the horse it memorializes.

NOTE: Colors may differ slightly due from how they appear on your screen due to varying monitor/laptop/phone settings and ambient light.

RETURN POLICY

All of our products are made to order. This means unfortunately we cannot accept returns, refunds or exchanges.

We cannot accept returns, refunds or exchanges on items as they are individually crafted. However, we will refund or replace the product as soon as possible if there is an error on our side or if there is a defect in the product.  If so, please send us a proof of the error/defect - a photo will work – WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT. You will be eligible for a refund or replacement.
