Custom Horse Memorial Unique to Your Horse

I will attempt to create any horseshoe memorial you can think of!

This is a mini shoe I did made from a piece of chestnut I found in my pocket when doing laundry. I believe it's from my Super Pony, Doodlebug, who passed in January, 2022.

Send me pics of whatever you have that you want to make a shoe with, and I'll give it a try. I will not damage or affix your piece to a shoe until you approve the mock up which I will send you.

By design, all of our products have a rustic, artisan look and feel. Truly one of a kind creations!

The horseshoe is 4.75" x 5" although each particular shoe may be larger or smaller depending on the wear pattern of the horse.

Horseshoes always are the perfect unique gift for any horse lover. Horseshoes are always hung “horns up” to receive and hold luck. Folklore has it that it is extremely unlucky to hand shoes “horns down”.

All orders are packaged in a beautiful pink box with paper shred, tissue paper wrapping and a gift or sympathy card can be added.

AFTER ORDERING

Please send me a message after ordering if you would like different bead options, and I will respond with what I have that is appropriate for this design.

Please check the spelling of the name you give me before ordering - the name will be exactly you write it.

Once your order is placed and your message to me is sent, you will need to mail me your item. Due to issues with the USPS, I suggest you use Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. 

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU LABEL THE ITEM WITH YOUR NAME AS IT APPEARS ON THE ORDER. (Best thing is to put it in a baggie with your name on it.) Some days I’m so busy that I don’t know if I’ve found a rope or lost my horse so help me out by clearly labeling your hair with the name you use on your order.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Metal may tarnish. This is a natural occurrence due to exposure to sulfur or hydrogen sulfide in the air.

It is not recommended to regularly soak your shoe as this can weaken the sealant, mildew the hair or even tarnish the hardware.

If it is necessary to clean the shoe, please use a soft cloth and plain water - do not immerse the piece in water. Simply rub it clean then dry it completely before re-hanging.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

All items are covered by a routine use warranty which covers damaged hardware, lost charms, etc. Routine use means that the piece is kept out of the weather and handled in a careful manner befitting its place in the heart of the horse it memorializes.

PLEASE NOTE: Colors may differ slightly due from how they appear on your screen due to varying monitor/laptop/phone settings and ambient light.

RETURN POLICY

All of our products are made to order. This means unfortunately we cannot accept returns, refunds or exchanges unless there is a production error or damage during shipping.

In the event something arrives damaged or with misspellings (a mistake on our part), we will refund or replace the product as soon as possible if there is an error on our side or if there is a defect in the product.  If so, please send us proof of the error/defect - a photo will work – WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT. You will be eligible for a refund or replacement.
